Do You Know?
A new born baby's brain is like a sponge which absorbs any stimulation from the outside world, including whatever they see, hear or touch. The more external stimulations the brain receives, the faster it develops. However, this rapid development only happens in the first few years from birth. In fact, 80% of the child's mentality and personality is formed during this period. This is why the age from 0 to 6 is a significant period in the child's development. If your child misses this precious learning opportunity, they need more time and effort in the future yet the result is less encouraging! This is the child's "Golden 6 years."
We believe all parents in the world hold the same wish for their children: to be healthy, happy and successful. For this reason, many parents want to give their children“the best”. But what is the "best"?
A big house?
Expensive food?
Prestigious schools?
Brand-name clothing?
Expensive toys?
None of the above.
In fact, if you respect your child, try to understand their perception to this world, you will be better equipped to accept your child's behavior with an open mind and can guide him/her accordingly. This is providing your child "the best".
Based on Dr. Maria Montessori's education philosophy, Macao Montessori Center loves and respects children, and educates children in a scientific manner. At the same time, we provide guidance to parents and other caregivers to better equip themselves so that they can guide their children easily and effectively.
With an area of more than 7,000 sq ft, the center has a Montessori classroom for toddlers and twos aged 12 months to 3 years old, a Montessori classroom for preschoolers aged 3 to 6 years old, a JELIC (multiple intelligences) classroom, a Montessori English classroom, a training room for workshops on The Montessori Method, and a Sensory Integration room. Children, together with their parents and caregivers will come to love learning through playing happily and comfortably.
